Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif joins Twitter

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken to social networking site Twitter. The former PM has created his account on Twitter and in his first tweet he has written ‘Respect the vote’.

This message has also been retweeted from the official Twitter account of Maryam Nawaz and PML-N. In this regard, Maryam Nawaz confirmed on Twitter that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has joined Twitter.

“I am delighted to announce that Nawaz Sharif has joined Twitter to stay in touch with the Pakistani people,” she said. It may be recalled that the All Parties Conference of the Opposition (APC) hosted by the PPP will be held in Islamabad tomorrow to decide the future course of action to get rid of the present government.

Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari will participate in the APC via video link and possibly both leaders will also address which is being prepared to be broadcast on social media platforms.
