Pakistan’s white-ball captain Babar Azam has become the highest-scoring batsman in T20I this year. Babar scored an unbeaten 64 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Monday, making him the highest-scoring T20 batsman this year.
This year, Babar Azam’s total number of runs has reached 942, while England’s Alex Hales has scored 895 runs so far this year. Australia’s Marcus Stionis is third with 809 runs.
Shoaib Malik is the second-highest run-scorer for Pakistan this year who has scored 703 runs so far in 2020 while Muhammad Hafeez has scored 684 runs.
Babar Azam has scored 8 half-centuries and one century so far this year. Thus, he is also at the first position in this list with nine fifty-plus scores. The Pakistan white-ball team captain is also the batsman to hit the most fours in the T20s this year.
He has hit 108 fours so far this year while no other player has hit 100 fours. It may be recalled that last year too, Babar Azam was the highest run-scorer in T20 matches and he scored 1607 runs in 39 innings.
