Rangers ISI officers fired after involvement in IG Sindh Case. The Military Court of Inquiry into the incident of IG Sindh which took place against the backdrop of desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid has been completed, in which the concerned officers have been removed from their responsibilities.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department (ISPR), the Army’s Court of Inquiry has been completed regarding IG Sindh’s concerns over the incident which took place against the backdrop of desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid.
The ISPR said that the inquiry into the IG Sindh incident was conducted on the orders of the Army Chief. On the recommendation of the Court of Inquiry, the concerned officers have been removed from their responsibilities.
According to the Court of Inquiry, the incident took place between midnight on October 19 and 18. Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Sector Headquarters ISI Karachi officers were busy dealing with the public reaction. In the tense situation, the officers showed some emotional reaction in their position.
A Pakistan Army spokesman said that as experienced officers, they should have avoided the undesirable situation. Due to the responsible officer, misunderstandings have arisen in two state institutions. Action should be taken against the officers for violating the code in GHQ.
