Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif’s mother Shamim Akhtar has passed away.
PML-N leader Atta Tarar announced the death of Shamim Akhtar on a social networking site.

According to sources, Nawaz Sharif’s mother had been in critical condition for the past one month but had been in more critical condition for the past few days and died at Avonfield Apartments.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s mother died in London where Nawaz Sharif is undergoing treatment while Shahbaz Sharif is currently in Lahore jail.
According to Sharif family sources, Begum Shamim Akhtar’s funeral prayers will be offered in London and her body will be sent to Pakistan tomorrow. However, there is no possibility of Nawaz Sharif coming to Pakistan with her body.
